This is a good day to review the Declaration of Independence, and consider the reasons our forefathers chose to risk everything they had in order to break away from England. Then consider just how close we are to losing what they fought to give us.
You might also take some time today or tomorrow to read the Constitution of the United States. It’s our owner’s manual. There is a test on that subject coming up in November.
Please don’t flunk it.
