Moving to Oklahoma

I landed a job in Broken Arrow, OK, writing software for flight simulators.

This is a major upheaval for me, similar in scope to some other major upheavals, such as when I joined the Navy, when I got out of the Navy, when I got married, when my daughter was born, and a couple of other major life changes.

I don’t expect to be in a position to continue teaching Texas CHL classes for the next several years. I may check into seeing what it takes to teach concealed carry classes in Oklahoma, but first, I need to get my OK resident CCW.

I plan to transfer this site to my brother, Thomas E. Harkness, until I return to Texas and resume CHL classes there. Or rather, if I return to Texas and resume teaching CHL classes. Things have changed a lot in the last couple of years, and CHL classes may not even be on the agenda when I get back — in 4 or 5 years, or maybe even longer.

At any rate, my brother is still actively teaching CHL classes in Pittsburg, TX, so he should be able to make good use of this site in my absence.
